There are several types of grazing record errors you may need to fix.

  • The grazing start and end times are incorrect. You can fix these by going to the Pastures tab to find the records for the pasture. Edit the start and end times of your grazing records as described here. Make sure that when you edit them that the dates do not overlap.
  • The pasture inventory, notes, or photo are not correct. You can fix these by editing the grazing records as described here.
  • You have extra records that should not be there. You can fix these by clicking on the trash can icon next to the record you want to delete.
  • The herds for a grazing event are not correct. First delete the record as described above. Then create a new historical move with the correct herds by clicking on the herd on the map or adding a move from the Grazing Chart. Here is more information on creating historical moves.
  • The pasture for a grazing event is not correct. First delete the record as described above. Then create a new historical move with the correct herds by clicking on the herd on the map or adding a move from the Grazing Chart. Here is more information on creating historical moves. Note that we do not allow adding historical moves into retired subdivisions. If you need to record a move in a retired subdivision, you will need to adjust or redraw your subdivisions to recreate the retired subdivision, enter the historical move, then adjust your subdivisions back to their current boundaries.
  • The number of animals for a grazing event are not correct. To fix this, go to the Herds tab and make sure your historical animal records are accurate. Cull or move animals to different herds if needed. It may take a minute or two for your grazing records to update after entering new animal records. Refresh the page to see the updated grazing records.
