Add An Animal

  1. From the “Herds” tab, click the herd you want to add animals to.

    2.Next, click the green button marked "Add animals" and the right-hand side of the page.

3. Another window will appear allowing you to input the number of animals you want to add, and key information such as the animals’ birthdate, weight, and dry matter intake. Once done, click the green button marked "Add animals" at the bottom of the screen. You also have the option to add animals via an Excel sheet if you have your animal information on an excel sheet.

4. Once you add all the information you need click on the green tan that says "ADD"

Move Animals Between Herds 

  1. From the “Herds” tab, click the herd you want to move animals from.

2. Next, move your mouse cursor over the Dark Red button marked as "Move Animals To" and the right-hand side of the page and a drop-down menu will appear. This drop-down menu allows you to select the herd you want to move these animals too.

3. Next, you can click to select the specific animals you want to move from the list by clicking on each animal, or you can select a range of animals by clicking on the first animal and holding down the shift key when clicking on the last animal. In addition, you can search for specific animal IDs using the "Search ID" search box. Finally, if you need to move all of these animals you can use the Select All tab in the bottom right section of the animal list. Make sure to adjust the date to the correct date and time so that your records are accurate. Click Save to finish.

Edit Animal Information (Name, BirthDate, Average Daily Gain, Dry Matter Intake) 

  1. At the top of the screen, click the “Herd” tab. Then, click the herd you want to view. A spreadsheet will appear showing Animal ID, weights, DMI, and other information.

2. Once the page of the herd you selected loads you can scroll down to see the active animals listed in a spreadsheet showing different columns such as Animal ID, weights, DMI, and other information. You can click on each individual column and row to edit information for each animal.

Note: DMI and Target ADG are edited at the top of the herd page that you selected. If you move your mouse cursor over the DMI or ADG section a pencil will appear. Click on the pencil to edit this information. You cannot add specific DMI or Target ADG for individual animals.
